"I was scared because I've never been in a school shooting," he told ABC News. "Everybody was crying. My teacher tried to keep everybody safe," he added.

We live in a deranged country where we spend so much time bullying the marginalized with trans phobia in the name of protecting our kids while this threat - this uniquely American menace - is allowed to flourish.
