Yeah, blasting music to the teenage congregation areas... I remember every local carnival & street fair I went to had huge speakers at the "extreme" ride (The Zipper, Dutch Shoes, etc.) that they brought in for the adventurous.  They would blast a loop of current hits you could hear through most of the midway.  And the carney ride operator would always check out/leer at your date.
