Strangely enough, Michael and I have never done anything together except for drink coffee and talk about the Albigensians. I think probably we would artistically just kind of cancel each other out, as we do similar jobs but in
different ways. I just heard some rough mixes of the Wallflowers record that he's producing, though, and it sounds
just fabulous. He's a super-talented guy, and a really under-rated guitar player, as well.
Matthew and Will Sexton and I started a song together one afternoon about six months ago called "Stalked", which I really liked, but I think the general level of confusion and insanity in my life and in the studio that day in particular kind of freaked him out and he never came back, which is a pity. He's a great singer, and a really good writer, and I hope he can have his day in court. Ricketts just got back from spending some time with him in Nashville, and says he's well.
