No, Sean isnt a former dope client. We became friends when he asked me to write a screenplay with him. We ended up being roomies for a time in this big wierd house in Malibu
which thankfully has since burned down. (That place always had a strange doomed sort of Manson Family feeling to it.) But we've remained good friends throughout the years, and in fact he was instrumental in getting A Fine Mess and some other stuff of mine to Lars, which convinced him (Lars) to make me such a generous offer. Coincidentally enough, with all the Band talk below, Sean also made something of an actor out of me in his film the Crossing Guard, which also featured none other than sly ol' Robbie Robertson himself.
