Hey everybody! The Doc is back...Listen now...I was delighted to find mention of Mr. Chomsky here and I have to ask you all to think a little about this...How much propaganda do you have to sift through on a daily basis? I mean isn't the entertainment industry really just a great big propaganda machine? TV newscasts are utter nonsense... and really that box they call a television should be about as welcome a member of your household as a sealed drum of toxic waste! Would you have that on a stand in your den? I'm sorry to interupt your nightly viewing of Seinfeld but let's take into consideration here who owns what in this great land of ours...There are now these horrific beasts called "MEDIA CONGLOMERATES"...I realize this sounds like something your doctor would tell you to avoid if you had high cholesterol..."You're going to have to cut down on your intake of media conglomerates."... but this means that most of the information outlets in this country are owned by the same small groups of people...That means that the same small group of people own your radio stations, newspapers, magazines, television stations, movie studios, etc... Now, do you think there may be a chance that there are some things they may neglect to tell you, if say that information conflicts with their best interests and profit margin? Let's also take into consideration that these "conglomerates" own a variety of other business ventures as well as your media outlets...Do the words "conflict of interest" pop up at this point?...So now what we have is a small group of people that not only have money and power but also control the flow of information to the general public...and who do you think the boys in Washington D.C. are playing footsy with?...That's right!!!...The guys with all the money, power, and ablity to control how, when, and if information reaches and affects the general public...Now I don't want you all to be discouraged by this little rant because "they" (and you all know who I mean at this point) would love that if you were...You see, like the Doc has said before they count on that...No, instead I'd like you to unite and become more active and aware...You see that's what they don't want...They just want to distract you with all that useless bullshit they broadcast on the box...which is all about wasting your time and selling you crap...that's right...they just want you to be lazy, conformist eating and buying machines that pay no attention to the men behind the curtain (to sort of borrow from the "Wizard Of Oz")...The Doc is here to help heal the world... listen...and help me help you!!!
