Whenever I hear "Boomtown" I get the feeling that this song really is the entire soundtrack to the movie/book "Less Than Zero" by that yucky author (Brett Easton Ellis)
Is there any relations or is this just the picture of the time ???

Listenin to "The Waiter" I picture all these hapless idiots running around in LA pretending to be writers/actors and what have you :-) Could have made for a really great video...

"Born for Love" is probably THE best lovesong ever written... - just a little better than "Walk through fire."
Maybee its wasnt written exactly as a lovesong (considering
David's previous comments), but its just soooo beautifull...

"Hello Mary" gives that lumb in the stomach thats keeps one from calling old friends, cause one is afraid of that kind of rejection (or worse)
:-/

"All Alone In the Big City" must ring true to all of us netheads ;-)

"Aids & Armageddon" makes me think of that short little genious lecture given by Larry Flynt in the movie by Milos Formann, with all the nutty things of mankind playing on the screen in the back...

As your can see I watch too many movies - cough
Just something to kick into the "debate" of the Man's Music.

comments are welcome
