Hey all...I know that there are probably many folks out there who are on the tree but have not yet received the live CD. But for those of you who've heard it, I have a question I'd like to throw out there, even though David (who'd be able to offer the definitive position, I'm sure) is on vacation.
The question is this: David and the band's performance of "Young Anymore" has a rather prominent addition to the lyrics. (no peeking, all you who want to keep this a surprise or something) The lines at the end, "And maybe I don't give a damn; And maybe I like it this way..." seem to really throw a different spin on the song.
My question is just what people think of the addition. I think it gives the song a really nice extra kick, but I tend to like those sort of unabashedly honest endings. What do you all think?
I was also just kind of wondering if anyone knows whether that line was a later addition to the song for the concert's sake OR if David left it out for Bedtime Stories, but it existed from the start. For this one I'll probably just have to wait until David gets back, but it's worth a shot...if anyone has a personal guess, I'd love to hear that too.
Best wishes to all,
Scott
