Icon ckecking in on DB ebay auctions

WOW! Have people been checking what kind of prices DB's CDs are pulling down on ebay?? The Bedtime Stories w/ intro tracks went for $40 or so a few days ago...and BS alone sells for $20 or so almost every time. It's weird...I saw a copy of Triage go for under $5 a few weeks ago and then a copy went for over $30 just a few days ago. I know it depends on timing and when people tune in...but it just seems weird. I know I've promised to put those intro tracks here on the website...and I _WILL_. I am promising rght now that before next weekend, those intro tracks will be on this site. Also - I haven't forgotten about the cover art contest. I will be posting the winning design VERY soon. I was a little disappointed in the number of entries...but the ones I did receive were all very nice. I also have one more thing to mention. In the light of the recent napster crack-down (or the appearance of which by napster) I have been a little reluctant to post some REALLY cool tracks that I was fortunate to get. All of the MP3s that I've posted before have all been either live or off of some type of promo release (like the intro tracks). These are, as far as I know, in that grey area of copyright violations. David hasn't objected to these. I have not (nor would I) post tracks from any of DB's legitimate releases (ie. BS, Triage, or AFM). BUT now I have some tracks that I'm not quite sure how to define. These are neither promo nor actual releases. They are, again as far as I know, demo material that was intended for release as what-would-become Bedtime Stories. They are the tracks that DB worked on with Steve Berlin. There are nine tracks total. Some would later make it on BS (with some changes here and there) and three would not. Believe me, I would love to post these tracks for all DB fans to hear. BUT. I would rather wait to get confirmation from DB as to his thoughts on the matter. If you want to post your thoughts on this - please do so. To be honest, I doubt David will have any problems with this...but I think it's only fair to wait. Ok. Post away.
