i was glad that you touched on the short film that was almost made involving triage. i had always meant to ask you about that, as it was mentioned in the article about you in Time magazine and i always kept an ear open for anything about it. let us know if any of it has survived. i think i would have laughed from the firing squad too. did they also chain you to a bus with a hundred other guys?

speaking of Time magazine, do you know how it came to pass that Time chose triage to be featured in their music review column? could it be that they just have excellent artistic taste?

lastly, i'm glad to hear that you are enjoying Scott's company out there at the Palindrome. we are all missing him very much on the East Coast. from the letters he's sent, it sounds like he's having the time of his life, and i hope you will keep him out there for as much of his summer break as you can.
