There's a couple more guys I file under "s**t I know and most don't". Following the "Califonia sound", Warren Zevon (yeah,....the Werewolves of London guy) has been recording fantastic "cynic's eye view" stuff for years. His new one "life'll kill ya" is sure to keep you from getting to high above yer raisin's.
I usually get the raised eyebrow for this one, but, Steve Earle (yeah,..the Copperhead Road guy) has been tearing it of the hinges since he *got out* in '96.
These guys aren't obscure, essentially, just ignored sound familiar?
