An engineer I'd worked with, a delightful woman named Julie Last, was engineering and mixing Rickie Lee's record and suggested me as a guitarist and singer. They called me, asked if I was into it, I said "sure"
and went down to Conway, expecting the worst. It was a delight, all the way down. Rickie Lee couldnt have been kinder, and I was very happy to find that the other musicians were Leo Kottke, Jim Keltner,
and other faves of mine. All in all, it was a great honor, a great time, and ended up being a great album.

Thanks for noticing,

David Baerwald
