David,
Time after Time I find myself fast forwarding/rewinding a mix tape in my auto to the track where the magnetic tape is running most thin, I'm sure. "Crash" an utterly amazing track, which is both brutal and beautiful in the same breath. The melancholly sincerity of the piano sends armies of goose bumps to all the senses. This is the single most important
song to grace the "A Fine Mess" two disc set, an absolute hit
single if radio had a pore for a tongue. "Metal hurts so when it hits you, flesh and bone like hand blown glass..., I am
engulfed with this song, I have my own story of what it means and how it makes me feel, but I can't help thinking of what it means to you David, what is crash a metaphor to? Who are the characters, players. Sounds to me like somebody done somebody wrong. Would you give us some insight on it's beginnings, when was this written? I s the J. Muhoberac the same who appears on "Seal" discs? Who is the "harpy"?
You sir, are an oustanding writer, you belong in the spotlight whether you like it or not.
Best Regards
