I'm a bit ragged and worn at the moment...and I lost a fight with a bottle of Wild Turkey just a little bit ago. So, I apologize for not being more of a presence here when I feel I should have been. I should update you on a few things...First my campaign ended in Boston on the evening of the first Presidential debate. Nader and I were denied access to the debate and because of this a variety of mayhem ensued. There was of course a good deal of pepper spray and billy clubing involved. I don't really want to go into the details of the whole event but I will say this Ralph Nader is more RAINMAN than revolutionary. There were many brave students present there that night that suffered because they protested Mr. Nader's inability to participate in the debate and we should all lift a glass to them. Nader and I watched the debate from a bar near Boston University where he amazed patrons with his ability to guess exactly how many peanuts were in a bowl. Anyway...later that evening the good doctor met with a fairly violent group of individuals who for the most part stomped the remaining ambition out of me as well as a few much needed pints of vital fluids. I was never really much of a political beast anyway...I'm more of a philosopher. That's not to say I'm all done with commenting on what's taking place here...No, no, no...I think at the moment I've got more to say than ever...Is it just me or has the entire media-political-corporate establishment just wiped their ass with the American flag and slapped us across the face with it? It's not bad enough we were force fed just these two bozo-weirdo-wacko-creep candidates by the corporate media establishment but now we are supposed to swallow this Electoral College horseshit? Am I alone in this? Am I alone? My beautiful brothers and sisters WE are this country! Let's not just recount Florida! Let's just take back all our votes and say "MY EYES ARE OPEN! I WILL NOT LIE DOWN!" We need to do more than send a message we need to BECOME THE MESSAGE! We need to let them know..."WE WILL NO LONGER RECOGNIZE YOUR TAXES, YOUR LAWYERS, YOUR LAWS, YOUR POLITICS, YOUR BACKROOM DEALS, YOUR LOBBYISTS, YOUR SOFT MONEY, YOUR LIES, YOUR INNUENDO, YOUR SCARE TACTICS, CONGRESS, SENATE, WAR CHEST, ELECTORAL COLLAGE, BECAUSE IT'S TIME TO FLUSH THAT TOILET THAT IS WASHINGTON D.C. AND START ANEW!" WE ARE NO LONGER GOING TO ALLOW THIS COUNTRY TO BE PAVED OVER, PLOWED UNDER, STRIPMALLED, SOLD-OUT, FORECLOSED, PREPACKAGED, AND FRANCHISED! We the people...have opened our eyes. We the people have opened our eyes. Say it with me...
