Thanks Block.
Storm Thorgeson/Hipgnosis(Pink Floyd) along with Mark Wilkinson's "Fugazi", "Misplaced Childhood", "Script for a .."(Marillion), Roger Dean (Yes), and were all major influences in my wanting to create album/cd art in the first place, oh, and don't forget Drew Strewzan's "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath"/Alice Cooper's "Welcome to my Nightmare". The "Wish you were Here" Design and Photography therein was stunning and spoke to me a different level that I had not come across before. My personal Fav would be the two gentlemen shaking hands on a movie lot although one of them has burst into flames and stands unaffected. Or the faceless Ren Magrite-like character amongst the desert dune landscape holding out a "wish you were here" clear vinyl disc no wrists apparent, while his foot rests on top of a heavily traveled suitcase (If I remember correctly). The two mechanical shaking hands stick with me as well. Then again music of that quality would have made stick figures fornicating fascinating. The theme always seemed to be communication, or a lack of anyway.
