David,
I know you've answered questions ad infinitum concerning your songs but I've been curious for awhile about your views on Bedtime Stories as a whole. Reading your posts over the last couple of years about the making of that album and your views on the evil machinations of the music industry I got the vague sense that this album required a bit too much pop-oriented compromise on your part and that perhaps it was an era you don't regard as the fondest. Am I entirely off-base (letting my psychological ruminations get the best of me)?
Forever curious,
Brent
