More nice words, but I disagree with Ms. Aronson. Funny, with the current goings on especially,  and in terms of brainwashing and propaganda specifically, this country is, if anything, getting close to fulfilling the Orwellian prophecy quite nicely.  Strange how things happen, but I was just thinking about "1984", after a pleasant bikeride the other day, when,despite the beautiful late autumn weather, disturbing thoughts of this country's recent regime of accelerated pro-Americana (aka PROPAGANDA), and beefed-up "security measures" (and the unbridled INTRUSIVENESS it will allow, in order to "prevent" more terrorism??) came through.  There's Big Brother all right; I don't know what his name is, or where he lives, but I feel his presence moreso as time goes on.  Perhaps we created him rather voluntarily.

Anybody else have any thoughts on this?  Interesting post nonetheless.
