: Yes, the pilgrims were giving thanks for escape from religious and political oppression in Europe and for the opportunity to turn around and oppress others in the future! �What a neat holiday! �And we have July 4th to celebrate our rebellion, Memorial Day to remember all the dead people, Veterans Day to reflect upon war and a few others that are really cool. �In particular, I enjoy Labor Day. �It's a day that we take off to celebrate Work. �
