:the majority of so-called Democrats would have allowed a handful of Floridians to piss all over the will of all the other states in the Union... can you seriously maintain that a few thousand voters should have been allowed to overturn the civil rights of the millions who could get it right the first time?

Of course there are those of us Floridians that feel we were "pissed" on by the supreme court. Also, am I mistaken or didn't Gore get the popular vote? What happened in Florida also opened the eyes of many voters of infractions happing in their states as well.
