Well, sorry to see that David didn't win the Golden Globe award tonight. But hey, if you have to be beaten by someone, it might as well be Sting. He's pretty good. Of course, I own all of David's records, and only one of Sting's, so my preference is clear.
Anyway, as consolation prize, David, I hereby present you with the first ever (yet already much sought after), highly collectible yet easy to store, "Golden Herring Award" for . . . well, just for being so gosh-darned outstanding! What other high-caliber songwriter goes so far as to keep up with his fans' message board, and even to put together a 2-CD set of music for us? I bet Sting wouldn't do that!
