Churlish of me, wasnt it?
It is perplexing a little, my Sting phobia, as I actually hold him in high regard as both a musician and songwriter and even think I can sort of empathise with him and his delusions and his huge social ambitions. And i love "Every Breath You Take", and "Walking On the Moon", too. And I grew up quite a bit luckier than he did,
and have done quite a bit less, so I should probably just shut up. But he's still a pompous ass.
Probably I'm just jealous.
But he's still a pompous ass.
Perplexed in the City of Meat,
David,
henceforth to be referred to as "Hawk"
ps:
I always had the same problem with James Taylor, who I also accept to be hugely talented. But, really, what would you think of me if I went around insisting that people call me Hawk, or calling a record "Sweet Baby Dave"? Wouldnt it make you want to puke?
yrs,
Hawk, and watch you dont call me Dave.
