For those that are interested (and I know a few of you picked up his last record "Soultube") here's an update on what Mr. Baier is up to:
He has joined a new band called Melodrome with Jesko Stahl, Darren Todd, and Matt Sloan. They celebrate the release of their new record "The Sidewalk Ends" on Feb. 15 at Club Helsinki in Great Barrington, MA. The website for Melodrome opens on Feb. 10 and you'll find it at www.melodrome.net. They describe the music as follows; "Listening to Melodrome's music feels like being on a submarine diving down into an endless ocean of luminous jellyfish."
I'm not quite sure what that translates to but hey I guess they were trying to be as descriptive as they could. The reason I bring this up here is as I stated when I first mentioned Mr. Baier here his last record "Soultube" drew many comparisons to the distinguished Mr. Baerwald and I thought you might enjoy this.
