: : So. I guess we can expect a lot more truth along the lines of "War is Peace. Freedom is Slavery."

: : And all these years I thought Huxley had won the globalist debate over Orwell.

: : John Kerry in 2004! Assuming we have elections, of course.

: hmmmmmmmmmmmm...Kerry huh...you've shown your cards Hawk....at least for today...as a fairly savvied politico from Boston, beware of smooth talking pols bearing psychological gifts...he is in the hunt for the Holy Grail of Egos, the Vanilla Ice of the current politicos...slim pickins baby....Born for Votes...let's send him a copy of Triage, and tell him we will vote for him based on his review......:) Regards.....

Probably so, but things being as they are, a fellow like him, with a sensible energy and environmental policy, relatively untainted by scandal, and with a war record that even a hard-line cold war hegemonist couldnt attack (as well as a magnificent head of hair) has a chance of attracting moderate republicans as well as alienated democrats.  No president will ever satisfy, but Kerry could at least slow down this hellbound train that we are all riding on.  He's electable.
