Thought some entertainment might be had from the George W. Bush Blog. I don't know how long it's been up...just heard about it today.

This is a (so far) clumsy attempt to capitalize on the success of the Howard Dean blog. The grassroots support that Dean garnered through his campaign's online presence seems to have scared the Shrubbies a little bit, and now they're trying to cultivate the same type of presence.

Primarily, the posts at the Shrublog are either tired arguments ripped from the conservative columnists ("Why tax cuts are good for you." yawn) or "this is what happened at today's Bush rally" fluff stories.

In any case, it seems a little late in the game for W. to start trying to position himself as a grassroots politician, no?
