Icon The Saga of Baltimore/DB tix and Corporate Greed

Hello folks,
Well after several false starts and disappointments, I have FINALLY got a ticket for the DB show in Baltimore at Fletcher's. It was touch and go there for a while. First it was listed as ON, then every time I moved my little buttocks over to the Sound Garden to get tix at the concert price, the sickly looking, apologetic guy at the counter would tell me the show was : a. Not yet listed, or more recently b. The tickets aren't printing yet (out of his computer).

So, since I live a good ways from Baltimore, I resorted to Ticket Whore and Greed Master.  Here's how a 10$ ticket breaks down according to these motherfuckers:

ticket price listed 10.00 $
"convenience fee"    6.95 $   (is that close to 70%...aaah I musta got a decimal place wrong..nope, that's right)
processing fee       3.50 $ (that must be the processing fee to process the "convenience" fee of getting raped by these greedy shitasses),
for a grand total of 20.45 $ for a 10.00 ticket!!
That's a deal...ONE ticket for a little over the price of TWO (I'm in the wrong business, obviously, they understand economics a LOT better than me).
I would have been HAPPY to pay 20$ for a DB show, right off the bat..but obviously David is not going to get one cent from Ticketmaster, and I will never understand their justification nor greed.

Please support the show, I know you all will, and buy DIRECT from the venue wherever possible. Now I'm beginning to see the "wisdom" of Eddie Vedders and Co protesting Ticketmaster a few years back; I had no idea they were that ruthless.
