they worked together on the 'bone's 2000 release PSYCHOTIC FRIENDS NUTTWERX; he co-wrote the second song with them (THE SUFFERING), and they did a boingin' bouncin' (not to be confused with Bergen-Belsen) version of AIDS & ARMAGEDDON, with DB doing the guitar part on it. if you listen closely to THE SUFFERING, i think you can hear the part that DB wrote, somehow. it's a great tune; Angelo certainly knows of what he speaks, and of course our man seems to have a PhD in the subject matter..
i have no idea how they ever hooked up, but hopefully i'll remember to ask him at Slim's if i get a chance to say hi. well, hell, if i forget, i'll just ask Angelo the next night when i see them. hey, this is shaping up to be a good-lookin' weekend, ain't it...
