It was a good review/article on David and the new album. My only complaint, and the reviewer is not alone, is the comparison to Ryan Adams. I think the only thing David and Ryan have in common is that they now share the same record label. I just don't get it, when reviews have to compare one artist(then knock that artist down) to another. I know that he was creating a point of refrence for the artist he was reviewing, but Ryan makes great records and so does David! Focus on David's album, not on how much better it is than Ryan's. I just don't see any comparison in the music at all. It would be like comparing David's music to Nick Drake's, as well.
