That's pretty interesting that you make the above comment to me, especially since I majored in finance and marketing in college, with my minor in psychology. When I got out of college, I became an investment banker, where I worked in Denver, Colorado.
I passed the Series 7 and Series 63 tests the first time, both with 100% scores. When I began our instructor passed out the statistics of past performance on these exams, and he said that we would most likely take these test three or more times before we passed both.
To take these tests, I had to study nearly 10,000 pages of law and regulations of the SEC Securities and Exchange Commission, which regulates the securities market in the USA. While I worked as an investment banker, the SEC was my boss.
The percentage of people who got 100% on both tests the first time out was less than 1%.
I worked as an investment banker until I had the opportunity to buy a small printing company. I had ten workers and my biggest accounts were the Buffalo Sabres hockey team, SportService, Moog Aerospace, LTV Corp., and the United States Government printing office.
I made an excellent living, and when I bought my house, I paid cash, and was able to completely bypass the home mortgage that you claim I have no understanding of.
I knew enough about it to completely avoid it.
Instead of giving a half a million dollars in interest to my local bank, I am saving more than you, and investing in things that make money in a bad market.
When I go on vacation, I go first class all the way because I can afford it. I also pay off my complete credit card balance in cash every month, and I haven't paid one penny in interest to any credit card company in over ten years.
But, if you say that I know nothing of such things, how was I able to do all of the above, if I don't even understand a mortgage contract?
Man, you stuck your foot in your mouth on this one. You don't know me, and you don't know what I have done, or am capable of.
Lastly, I do not care if you believe anything I say or write, because I am not here purely for your entertainment. The only person on this planet that I care what they think of me, is my wife.
She says she loves me.
I believe her.
End of story.
