So no one has mentioned Bob Dylan's return to the Newport Folk Festival all these years after he "went electric" there. That was back when rock 'n' roll could still shake people up. It's funny that he made his return in diguise. He wore a fake beard and a wig under his cowboy hat. Looked like a hillbilly Fu Manchu. Bob's still doing it and doing it his way. He never spoke to the crowd except to introduce the band which included Will's brother Charlie Sexton. It would be interesting if Will or David talked to Charlie and got his take on Dylan's return to Newport. Dylan & Co. arrived out in Worcester, Ma. last Tuesday and rehearsed at the Palladium to get warmed up for the Newport gig. On Friday Dylan and the band played to a packed house at the Palladium before heading down to Newport. Somewhere along the way Dylan broke out the wig and beard.
