I suppose, as horrific as it sounds, being in a postion to study the defense of our country against bio-terror one must inevitably consider the possible ramifications of defense gone wrong.
Anybody read "The Stand" by Steven King?
In the unimaginable event that something this horrible could ever transpire and there are any survivors, I guess some method of dealing with the remains of society should at least be considered. To actually have them in place is a scary thought but that seems to be the position that the foolish folk "in charge" have put us in.

Somebody wasn't paying attention when they watched "The Day The Earth Stood Still" back in the 50s.

I am watching the live public press conference with the Dr. Hatfill as we speak.
Without addressing his past, he seems to be a genuine, America loving character.
I don't suppose it's possible to judge ones character by watching them on TV but this is my initial reaction.
