I've been thinking a lot about our wonderful neighbors to the north. I applaud their refusal to spend the loonie here! A case in point, typically they vacation en masse at Old Orchard Beach in Maine, but not this year!  Additionally, their targeted tariffs of products manufactured in red state America is brilliant! So, here's to the Blue Jays in baseball and all those Canadian-based hockey clubs. Let's raise a brimming glass of Molson, or Moosehead, or Labatt! And a hearty cheer for curling, poutine, Mark Carney's election prospects, and our much beloved friend from Vancouver, Kyle Thorleifson! A great ambassador he was for his nation!
