My favorite songs of all time, with the proviso of offering only one per artist. I've added a couple and saw no reason to delete any as it would be like ghosting an old, trusted friend. The punk influences are surely at play here as that was the era that captured me, and surely won't loosen up...and I'm fine with that!

They’re not in any particular order, and after much thought, I've concluded that the Elvis Costello contribution, with lyrics from Nick Lowe, took the gold medal, but the rest are vying for the silver!

PS: And it's wonderful to see the lists provided by the friends we've lost during the last ten years: Andrea, Kyle, and heathcliffe, bless 'em! And play their gifts to us!
