This is what Bongino said this month after his meltdown about the Epstein case:

"I'll never be the same after learning what I have learned."

In the land of investigative journalism this is a massive, and I mean HUGE, red flag. It indicates a man that is going to break, that has a story he wants to tell. He wants to vent, to leak, to tell what he knows. 

Bongino is a weak spot. A spot where you continue to apply pressure and to give him his opportunity to vent, to say what he wants to say. 

Personally, I've never met the man. He may already be leaking things we do not yet know about. The approach should be that a journalist he likes and trusts talks to him. Keeps telling him, "I am here to listen, we can just talk. I won't write or say a word until you are ready, Dan, but if what you know is as valuable as I think it is, I want to help. You could be the one that helps the entire country course correct."

The word is Trump is furious with Bongino, however, fire him and you have set him free. Free to tell what he knows, free to no longer hold back.
