I am making no argument here. I was suggesting supporters put a face and name to the number they are assigned by their death in what is now mostly NON combat situations. And no it’s not "Lets just show the dead and talk of nothing else". It would be nice if that were merely mentioned or acknowledged by our government who put them there, rather than imposing news blackouts on the negative images they might present.

You are right on one thing, this should have been finished before we left after Desert storm. But then you do it again, you can't help yourself. Throw Clinton under the bus. Leave him out of this, he's not what we're talking about. Clinton DID pursue terrorist and Golly Gosh Gee, what do you know. he actually CAUGHT them and they are in jail. Clinton actually had a very good policy of combating terrorism.

Yes Saddaam was a bad man, Yes he committed atrocities against his own people. No one is saying "he’s a great guy we should let him sleep it off". But that is not why we were told we were going to war. We were told he presented a clear and present danger to us on our own soil, which so far...unproven. If we could only find him and politely ask him a few simple questions I'm sure we could clear this all up. Just a huge misunderstanding.

Diplomacy can and does work but it works much better when you have the full support of you allies. The list of our "Coalition of the Willing" partners reads like a bunch of  USA wanna be, who while big in spirit and support offer little in the way of real back-up. I am not trying to demean their support either.
