Now, this is not a shameless suck-up to DB, but has anyone else out there seen this movie?Sean Penn did a wonderful job. As a parent watching this movie, his performance gave me goose flesh and at one point I had to turn away from my wife because his acting almost had me in tears. My only complaint is there was one part of his performance where Clint Eastwood should have drawn it out longer and let it go on about four or five more seconds. If he had, the audience would have been drained. And to top it off, the critics are saying he does an even better job in 21 Grams. If you are a Penn fan pick up The Indian Runner, The Crossing Guard, and The Pledge. What is great about Penn's directing is you can tell he goes for truth and realism and he doesn't go for the famous happy Hollywood ending bullshit. There are two scenes in The Indian Runner that are some of the most honest portrayals of human violence I've ever seen. (And he got a wonderful acting peformance out of Charles Bronson). Eric
