Here is the article:

FIRST-GRADERS CONTRIBUTE THANKSGIVING RECIPES

Unsure what to cook for Thanksgiving dinner this year? Well, you are in luck. The first graders at Pine Hill Primary are here to the rescue. Contributing Recipes are [names edited out].

STUFFED TURKEY:

Ingredients - 1,000 feet of turkey, 8 pounds of stuffing, 200 percent gravy, four and a half cups of oil, and three cups of water.

Instructions - Get a turkey and cook the turkey for 12,000 minutes at five degrees. Dig a hole in the turkey and put the stuffing in it. Put the water in the turkey. Don't forget the oil.

STRAWBERRY PIE:

Ingredients - seven strawberries, one pound of the little brown stuff, 10 eggs, one gallon of water, two pounds of milk and three pounds of sugar.

Instructions - Mix it up with a big spoon in a white bowl. Cut the stems off the strawberries. Stir it and put it in a black circle pan that has a little grey in it. Take it out and see if it is tasty.

CORN:

Ingredients - Three bags of corn, 16 sticks of butter and 17 cups of salt.

Instructions - Stir the corn and the 16 sticks of butter in a heavy pot. Cook it on the stove for 16 minutes at 7 degrees. Take it off the stove and then pour the 17 cups of salt in. Take it over to the table and pour it on your plate. Eat it with a spoon and turkey.

CHICKEN (This one's my favorite!):

Ingredients - 30 pounds of chicken, 30 pounds of sugar, nine pounds of pepper, 40 pounds of salt and 40 pounds of oil.

Instructions - Put the chicken in the pot that you cook eggs in. Dump the salt on the chicken. Pour the oil in. Cook on the stove for 9 hours. Put on plates and cut it. Tastes like chicken.

Tastes like chicken! Hee-hee!

This is an interesting peek into the mind of a child, and it never ceases to amaze at what unique views they have of the world that surrounds them.
