If there ever was a grand time to get the heck out of Iraq, I think it is now after reading that story. I fully understand that horrible things happen during a war (or whatever the spinsters in D.C. want to call it).
But the idea of those soldiers' bodies being dragged out of their vechicle and beaten though they had passed away, makes me sick. The thoughts of what those soldier's families must be feeling right now is overpowering.
Do you get the sense that Bush and his cabinet of country club tough-guys have no real sense of what is going on in Iraq? Perhaps they do not care. Maybe it is easier to keep thier heads in the sand until the 2004 election is over.
