The 70's to me was the worst period for music because I cannot listen to any 70's music consistently like I can 80's music.

Early 70's I remember America......Horse with No Name, Don McClean - American Pie. Mid 70's would be Skynrd, Zepplin and Ted Nugent. Mid late 70's Heart, Van Halen, Atlanta Rhythym Section, I remember when I discovered Napster I thought it so cool to download this stuff. So I downloaded all the crap......Golden Earring, Doobie Brothers. Played once or twice
