In March 2003 --- I moved over to the Mac OS X operating system --- because of security problems with Windows. I was using Windows 2000 Professional and because of my current project --- this was completely unacceptable.

The good news is thus . . .

Since I set up the Mac, installing the necessary software and moving all my data backups to the new system --- I have had no problems of any kind.

I have had no problems with viruses, worms, or any of the maladies that continue to afflict all versions of Windows.

Anyone who would like to discuss making the move to the UNIX-based OS X Jaguar --- please reply and I will fill you in on any details you need to know about.

Aside from the Internet --- this is the BEST THING that I have ever done in the area of computing.

I would highly recommend this if it is in your budget to do so.
