>>From the start Shrub and his admin should have been truthful and >>things might have been different.

Since when is truth the pre-emminent quality for American Presidents?!

>>For example, if Shrub et al had framed this debate by pointing out >>the removal of Hussein would have decades of positive implications >>for the world by stablizing the middle east for the entire world,

If you or anyone else didn't see this is as a by-product of Iraqi intervention (this includes Sharon cooling his jets and the Knesset not re-electing Netanyahu) then you should have been paying attention sooner. FYI Bush is the 1st President in recent history to speak of `A Palestinian State`... what else do you want?  The wheels are turning - his capture strengthens the hand of the free world and may give Israel a good reason to start backing down. When I say backing down, they might just be able to live at peace with innocent Palestinians and not be led straight to death by Islamic radicals as liberal elites appease said murderers (Sean Penn is a good example of that kind of useful idiot)

>>he could have been more successful. Now through Shurb's cowboy >>antics we have harmed our relationships with sincere allies.

Defend a few more Saddam apologists why don't you... How do the French and Germans have any credibility when they were trying to protect the money they sent straight to Saddam's torture machine.

>>the right is concerned with these human rights abuses when in fact >>the largest majority of them happened when Republican presidents >>were in office.

I recommend you read up on Cambodia... the left wing sat back and did not say a word as innocents were massacred. Where were the weekend warriors then?

>> Here we are, America, siding with a human rights brutal country >>such as China and not Taiwan.

Errm - the Chi-Coms bought and paid for Clinton's re-election. They're useful because they can strong-arm North Korea...

>>Again, I ask those on the right, where the hell were they when close >>to a million people were hacked to death in Rawanda? Where are >>they now in regards to the Congo? Where in regards to Saudia >>Arabia? China?

Where were you when Cambodians were massacred... where were you now that Christians are being sold into slavery in the Sudan... where were you when Castro systematically abuses and `removes` undesirable Cubans? There's plenty of blame to go around...
