I've only got time for a short response because I have to go pick up my wife. First I'll say I understand you being a bit paranoid and defensive because you are attacked quite a bit around here. Understand I'm not attacking you. You must also understand it's ok for you to be wrong some of the time and accept that and move forward. Some of the comments in your response show first a lack of understanding of what I said and second you do have a few errors in your content.
I don't have time to dispute everything so I'll try to make this more basic. Again you spend the great majority of your response preaching to me about what I don't know and what I don't understand and how you've done lots of research. The fact is, you are not aware of what I know and what I may have studied in my life or how long I've studied it...so I'll ask you a simple question:
Do you understand when you do this you are making assumptions about me which you have no way of confirming unless you have an actual discussion with me?
If you don't wish to have that discussion here we can have it via e-mail.
I have continiously stated --- I am extremely interested in the subject of BELIEF --- as it plays the central role in matters such as these.
That would be an interest we share Kent.
I hear every single word you are saying Reg --- it's just that you and I are seeing the world from much different perspectives --- nothing more.
My post was really not about perspectives and I was not posting about how I see the world. I was posting just to explain to you that I meant to help you with the info in that article.
01) The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion - The only statement that I made about this was that it accurately describes what is currently going on in this world. If it were in fact a hoax --- it would be expected to get more than a few details wrong. But it doesn't get them wrong --- it describes them to a startling degree of accuracy.
Any argument that it all must be a hoax conveniently ignores that it is extremely accurate in describing our world today. Even the fact alone that it was written one hundred years ago should render some aspects of it incorrect. But --- the opposite has occurred.
I wasn't there and neither were you --- I don't know for sure that it wasn't a hoax any more than you don't know for sure that it was a hoax. However --- the difference is that you have already made up your mind about the hoax.
Have you even read this document?
Not only have I read it but I did study it a bit. If you wish I can provide you with information about it you obviously are not aware of. I think it would help you to know what I know...that requires a discussion and you must be willing to accept that your research in this area may be lacking a bit.
Once again --- we get to the real heart of the matter. KDB must be discredited no matter what --- because of what I discuss is even 10% true --- the world is very different from what we all originally thought.
That's paranoia Kent and I'm sorry you feel that way about me because I don't have any feelings of that nature with regards to you and I in fact enjoy reading what you have to say. I think it is helpful though if I see a flaw to point it out to you so that in future discussions you don't make the same mistake again.
02) Historical "PROOF" of Jesus Christ - Here I have done an extensive amount of research. In order to perform research on this topic --- I had to literally read somewhere over 500 books on everything from theology, mythology, etymology, and a few other 'ologies besides.
I've got to run to get my wife so I can't tackle this at the moment but I'll just ask:
1. How many languages can you read and or speak Kent? This is important because to properly research this subject so that you may speak with at least some authority it would require you to be able to understand several. It is a topic I too am quite interested in and reading what you posted even with my limited grasp I see some flaws and potential misunderstandings.
I'm not trying to challenge you here Kent, I'm just trying to have a simple discussion. I do not want to make you look bad. If you want we can talk via e-mail.
