part of why the shit hits the fan here is the standard of refereeing is soooo very poor. the little teams always get the bad breaks against the MAn U's and Arsenals and Iiverpools of this world and with no instant replays or other footage to use it can hinge on one controversial result...and if you're paying £40 for that you won't allow your face to be rubbed in it. each team has a hardcore element...and welsh teams like cardiff make every game a matter of settling national grievances...all so bloody stupid...it really is getting out of hand with england versus turkey...holland versus germany...etc
