Kevin,Your posting is exactly what irks me and it truly is misrepresentive of the liberal side of this folly. It's not that we wanted him in power, but goddamit, for the Bushies to tell the truth! They have told lie after lie after lie about the march to war with Iraq. And that is not how to do things. Besides, more than anything, Saddam is a creation of the right......or wasn't that Rummy seen in that picture shaking his hand? Oh, and isn't if funny how under Bush 1 Saddam was told that we didn't really care about a border conflict with Kuwait, but as soon as the Bush Family friends the Saudis started getting a little worried, it was a different story. Why is it that in all of these stories there always appears to be a huge participant (Saudia Arabia) that somehow stays above the storm, when they should be right in it?As I've said before, Bush et al should write a huge thank you note to Bill Clinton for creating impeachment fatigue, because Shrub's lies for the his journey to war far out weigh Clinton's lies in search of the perfect blowjob. It is especially disgusting to go back and read the quotes by those lying Bushies as they tried to link Hussein and 9/11. How much more dispicable can you be than to lie about this incident when America was grieving and looking for true leadership? What is especially galling is how the right now falls back on Saddam's human rights issues when usually those issues are too often ignored (recall China in 89, Kurd's killed under Bush 1, Pol Pot due to Nixon, the Congo under Shrub 2)....
