Kevin,Yes, I do know Shrub has lied and lied and lied. The information about his lying plentiful out there. Heck, for the most blatant one go back to his State of the Union address about the uranium claim. You will probably say, "no, he based that on British intel" however, go back and look at the timeline. HIs administration was told on several occasions in both memo and word form that that information was wrong, but he told it anyway. Is that not a lie?Next, yes, you mischaracterize my opinions. I do not hate Shrub. I do hate his policies. In his own miswired mind I do think he thinks he is doing good. I throughly enjoyed his Thanksgiving trip to Baghdad and was greatful he did such a thing. But politically, he and I are worlds apart, but I do not hate the man.And blindly stating the left did not want Saddam is pure bullshit. I have been a member and financial supporter of Amnesty International for over 15 years. And such presumptions are insulting. But here is the rub.......do you honestly believe if Shrub et al had sold the Iraqi war honestly, that it was about the liberation of Iraqi citizens, that this war would have taken place? I sincerely do not, and proof of this is what is going on in the Congo and in the past. Hell, look at the right's position on the Balkan's war and their reaction towards Clinton for getting involved. What the ball-less congressional democrats should have done is make Shrub et al finish with bin laden, al queda and the Taliban and if he could prove he could adequately finish that, then go after Hussein.Frankly, I sincerely wish that human rights were as big as a concern to those on the right as they are to those on the left.
