Since WWII, our country has had a lot of opportunities to compare folks we disagree with to Nazis. I was kicked out of the Boy Scouts for saying that our troop resembled the Nazi Youth because so many of the boys scared away black and hispanic kids who wanted to join. But unlike many other "questionable" organizations, we had the uniforms, the funny hand jestures while saluting, huge bonfires and we all had to wear knee socks.
