Well, I would argue whether or not these are left wing sources with you all day long, I certainly do not trust this woman, and Grassley is certainly suspect as a Republican considering his propensity to ignore any incompetence on the part of Democrats, but that aside, you have hit on the one thing about this that really pisses me off.

If I was calling the shots there would have been WAVES of unemployment sweeping through government after the first woman came out and detailed how the FBI and CIA failed to put the pieces together.

This I think is the biggest problem. There are too many lifelong bureacrats who are loyal only to thier own jobs. People who feel thier power is threatened leak shit to the press, but they never leak the WHOLE story, they leak what either hurts who they want to hurt, or what deflects responsibility off of themselves. And before you accuse me of defending Bush, remember Gary Aldrich? President Clinton had a major problem with this too.

Richard Clarke is one of these. That is why he has no credibility.

He claims that he was a registered Republican(which has been proven to be another one of his little "falsehoods"), but the truth is I believe that Richard Clarke does not serve either party. Richard Clarke serves Richard Clarke. Just as George Tenet serves George Tenet etc.

If I had to pick just one thing that Bush has done that has really pissed me off, it is that no heads were rolling down the Capitol steps.
