well thankya, Andrea...rotten, indeed. grr!

but, whatever; many many many better things are going on - playing a show at Universal Studios on April 25th with an incredible oversized crew of percussing gyrating flaming backflipping freaks called MUTAYTOR (http://www.mutaytor.com), plus another gig/show/riot in LA a couple days before, check the listings on their site, come out (you're on the list, natch; email me if you want to come, maybe even tear your bro away from that SMPTE vortex and show 'im a good time), and lose your freaking mind - seriously, it's some kind of mutant Cirque de Blue Man Stomp thing, and it's getting out of control in a very good way. at each and every show, the barrier between performer and audience gets steadily smashed to bacon bits, creating an all-inclusive no-holds-barred free zone of unique personal expression...and from there, souls take delightfully eclectic wing. it's a beautiful and precious place - and that's before we all drop the laundry for the last couple of numbers. ;)

we'll be mutayting at Coachella Music Festival, too, both days...3rd year in a row for that one. thundering drums, tribal trance polyrhythms, acrobatic stunts, hot chicks and fire! really, no one in their right mind would ask for more.

then back to Europe for a month in June with The Motivators (a Chili Peppers/Maceo/Lenny Kravitz funkfit that my dearest amigo dans le monde plays geetar for, we are having a marvelous time), so very few tears have been shed over The Hellbillys debacle of a few weeks ago. psychobilly is a very small pond anyway, but i got a European tour outta em, at least.

so anyway, here's a topic for any and all musicians and bandpeople here: breathtakingly stupid/selfish/lame things that band members past and present have done. i'm sure there's some doozies that make my story look like a steak dinner in comparison.
