I would say it is about equal
The period of 1972-73 was a very good period for music I think. Thank god for Kazaa. I even found Troglodyte!
That said, the rest of the 70's blew as far as I'm concerned. I can't listen to the likes of Foghat, Frampton, Foreigner, Heart, Little River Band, Ted Nugent, Nazereth........uhhhhhhhhhhh
My favorite period in all of music was the period between 1983-1987. I did not buy one hair band album
