From the 70's I'd add Springsteen, Graham Parker, Garland Jeffreys, the Ramones, Tom Robinson Band, Stiff Little Fingers, and Joe Ely. These groups, along with the aforementioned Clash and Jam, have been the groups I have held most dearly. The 80's only saw a few additions: Paul Kelly, Weddings Parties Anything, Midnight Oil, Go-Betweens (god bless those Aussies), Baerwald, and even an American folkie (Bill Morrissey). Oh, and Andrea's inclusion of Elvis Costello also warmed this old grinch's heart.
