and I've been stopping in there from time to time. This site receives reports from people on the ground in Iraq that are reporting a completely different thing than Rivera.
Hopefully what you posted is old, otherwise Rivera must be high on crack.
Lately I have found that some of the best journalism can be found on blogs and CSPAN. A while back CSPAN had a group of reporters and one was Arab and stated he had predicted what is happening now months ago. He said he was also very surprised at American suprise over what is now happening and that most with a good history of the Middle East should have seen this coming.
Besides, Rivera is a jerk and I can't believe he is still around after he reported troop movements on live tv (oddly, recall Peter Arnett was branded a traitor for making comments on Arab television that he believed the Americans underestimated the Iraqis).
