I'm praying...maybe not hard enough at times.  Obviously Brad is right in that the media finds it more appealing to focus on what is wrong rather than the positive.   Why does bad news sell so much better than good news?  Maybe it's easier to read about other people and their problems than it is to think about our own.  Given that thought, I think the continual assault of bad news out of Iraq would make it difficult for the most discerning among us to have many good thoughts about what we're doing.

Does anyone here have any confidence in the UN to make things right either now or before the war?

You know, I don't know what an acceptable number of casualities would be but I think we long ago passed the number of acceptable deaths by Saddam.
